What to bring if you're walking
- Comfortable footwear (we walk ~12 km/day on rural roads)
- Water bottle (1L minimum)
- Hat or scarf for sun
- Curiosity and patience
- Local contacts — if you have a friend or relative in a village, tell us; we'll arrange for you to spend time with them
We provide: chai, water, snacks, a chair, an ID badge, and a notebook for issues you want to record.
